About Me

My photo
"From childhood's hour I have not been as others were; I have not seen as others saw." -Edgar Allen Poe

I see many worlds through my eyes. I belong, in part, to each (though often I scarcely feel I belong to either.) In all of my work I try to capture the beauty and mystery of the ethereal creatures that lie within us and around us.

Here you will find a gallery of the masks I have made, all inspired by a fantastical combination of nature and mythology.

May we forever wonder at the enchantment that exists all around us.

Quoth The Raven - New for October 2011

"Quoth the Raven" swoops in on the October breeze just in time for Halloween!
Ravens have featured in ancient folklore for many centuries, notably in Norse mythology as Odin's companions, Hgin ("Thought") and Munin ("Memory.")
Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's classic poem The Raven, this mask is crafted out of 12 separate pieces of leather to take the form of a stylized raven.
"Quoth the Raven" shimmers in semi-metallic black with purple and midnight blue-tinted feathers.
Semigloss black beak.
